Hey, I’m Tory, an engineer, entrepreneur, husband, and father who’s always chasing the next challenge. My life is a mix of structured logic and creative exploration—balancing a career in engineering with a growing passion for business, relationships, health & fitness, writing, and personal development.
I started this blog as a place to share insights on the topics that fascinate me most: science, philosophy, politics, personal finance, health & wellness, business, history, and the paradoxes of world. I believe in the power of humble confidence—the ability to push forward with conviction while remaining open to growth and learning. My main goal with this blog is to distill complex, challenging, and/or confusing topics into a digestible format that empowers readers with clear, actionable insights they can apply to their lives.
Beyond my professional and intellectual pursuits, I’m a loving husband and a proud father. Our two dogs keep life interesting, and our home in Huntsville is where we’re building the life we’ve dreamed of. But life isn’t just about ambition—it’s about connection. I’m working on deepening my relationships, strengthening my marriage, and making meaningful friendships along the way.

How did I get here?
I was born in the midwestern U.S. and grew up in upstate New York. I had a relatively simple and easy life growing up with two parents who loved & supported me along with three younger brothers that consistently pushed & challenged me. Throughout my childhood I excelled in both academics and athletics. In high school, I balanced being a top student with a bit of rebellion, but my grades and sports never really suffered. I went on to study mechanical engineering at Notre Dame, where I learned the hard way that talent alone wasn’t enough—discipline mattered.
After graduating, I joined Textron’s leadership program, which took me across the country. Along the way, I met my wife, Stephanie, and we eventually settled in Huntsville, Alabama, to be closer to family. My career in aerospace engineering has been rewarding, but I’ve always had an entrepreneurial itch. In 2023, I finally took action—diving into social media content, digital marketing, e-commerce, and health & fitness.
Now, I’m on a mission to build financial freedom beyond my 9-5, create meaningful content, and inspire others to take control of their health, finances, and future.
